The remote switch installation kit with temperature display is available as an option for every pressure-resistant Svans hot water boiler

The remote switch set with temperature display can be used for any Pressure-resistant Svans boiler It can be ordered. It is simply plugged into the back of the device using a plug-in connection. An additional power supply is not necessary; the cable is 8 meters long, so the remote switch with temperature display can be conveniently mounted in the right place. Thanks to the integrated load switch/relay in the device, only one control voltage is sent to the remote switch and temperature display. This is very efficient; the power consumption in standby mode is 0.2 W.

How it works:


By pressing the main switch on the boiler the illuminated temperature display and switch are activated (power consumption 0.2 W). The boiler can now be switched on and off using the remote switch. When the remote switch is operated the indicator light in the switch lights up and signals that the device is in heating mode. As soon as the set temperature on the temperature controller on the device is reached the indicator light in the remote switch goes out even though the switch is operated. The set temperature has been reached. As long as the remote switch remains operated the device will maintain the set temperature by briefly operating the heating element (power consumption when maintaining the temperature approx. 8-12 W).

The remote switch included in delivery can be replaced by any other switch, or a switching output from an existing control panel can be used.

SVANS boiler Switching output

The switching output is available as an option for every pressure-resistant Svans hot water boiler


Function of switching output:


The cable of the switching output can be extended as required. A load switch/relay is integrated into the device. This allows only a small switching voltage to be controlled via the switching output. This allows the boiler to be switched on and off very efficiently remotely. You can use any switch for this purpose, or use an existing switch or switching output on your control panel. Control panels from Victron, Votronic, or Ective, for example, are compatible.



The switching capacity is 200 mA

The recommended cable extension for the switching output is: 2x 0.5 to 1 square
